@@BenchmarkBoy I don't have the game but apparently I cannot get even 60fps with my 4080 super and max details + RT in 4k even with DLSS and FG? WTF? What did I even pay 1000€ for my graphics card for? How about devs stop releasing unoptimized crap that relies on DLSS and FG and even when it's not enough. Performance can't be cleanly separated from gameplay in my opinion so this rating is way too high.

@@MrHorst38 but maybe people are rating the actual game itself. If you drop your settings you can easily get a playable frame rate. Maybe that doesn't bother people

@@BenchmarkBoy For sure, but that's just because people are ignorant and need to get their eyes checked. I'm not very sensitive either but I can definitely see sub 60 fps drops and traversal stutter (which gets way worse with ray tracing according to digital foundry). This ignorance leads to a downward spiral where pc ports get worse and worse over time.

@@MrHorst38 but objectively performance and the actual game story are 2 different things. I could play red dead redemption at 10 fps in 8k but i still think the game has a good story

Its hard to compare to be honest because doom eternal has ray tracing where this game doesn't. I do think the scenery and immersion are better in this game

Personally i dont think you need 240 fps in this game. Id drop down to 1440p 144hz

@@BenchmarkBoy The point he is making is that he can seamlessly scale down to 1080p on a 4k monitor. 1440p looks like shit on 4k monitors, 1080p will end up looking better for more fps (especially with some slight sharpen via nvidia panel).

@@justsam100 or you could just stay at 4k and use dlss or fsr

@@BenchmarkBoy maybe it's just me but dlss in this game looks too "smudgy" with all the movement on the screen and the fast camera panning. If you look at a still image, dlss quality will probably look better tho. I do notice the streaking and artifacts that come with dlss in some games more than most i guess, so i'd just rather play native; also less input lag.

Its very hard to add chapters for every time i change settings on a 3+hr stream. This is more an interactive live experience where i change the settings live in real time per request. I then put videos out with the specific break down and chapters

it plays nice if you're into shoot, horde chaos type gameplay. Will be great fun if you play co-op

gears of war video game came out way before space marine though right? Gears of war 1 came out in 2006. When im talking about it being like gears of war im talking about the game itself. The style of gameplay, controls, combat, finishing moves etc. Its very much like the gears of war series

I found my systems fans start whirring hard when the game starts.

Hardest parts are probably when you get hordes and combat with loads of units

@@user-cx6rg6mr7d Yes it starts cranking when it loads into a level and the hordes start. I do not get this kind of fan activity with say Star Wars Outlaws, to name a recent game that is quite taxing.

cod has always ran better on amd hardware. You would get more fps with something like a 7900 xt as well

I dont want that on when im testing fps. I want the rendered resolution to be consistent so its an accurate test. If its dynamically scaling the resolution there would be no way to know what resolution its rendering in because it changes so it would make any test pointless

@@BenchmarkBoy i use fsr 2 but this settings is in categories with ultra perfomance, perfomance, balanced, quality, native and dynamic. I wanna know is dynamic bettee image vs quality render? Or is quality best? Sorry for my english

@@bostjanbeks4849 fsr quality will look better and its going to be more consistent. The quality will change up and down with dynamic scaling because it changes the resolution depending on whats happening in the game

@@genious1871 the controller should just work automatically through steam. What type of controller is it? Maybe the game doesnt work with controller yet, i havent checked

it will do 60fps+ at 4k max its just the starting area seems harder to run. Once you get into the game you can get 60+

@@thetempter9023 He won't be able to display the results, just the frames it loses while enabling it (and gaining it back with it's version of framegen, that only he'll see and feel)

really depends on the game to be honest but yeah its more likely with brand new games you'll need dlss to be at 60 at 4k

In a fair number of recent titles, like Alan Wake 2 for instance, my ASUS 4080 hits triple digits at 1440 maxxed with Remedy's FG and RR implementation. On the other hand, Cyberpunk 2077 from 2020 tanks with DLAA full RT, and FG introduces latency and stutter to the point it's unplayable. It really is a mixed bag card, even at 1440.

@@BenchmarkBoy I found problem. It was ai suite 3 ,it limited my cpu so i was getting 50fps .im using wukong benchmark ,i was getting 50fps and now 100fps
